MELTING POT ON DANCE SAND!

MELTING POT is a dance performance developed by the Italian choreographer Marco Torrice. Especially for DANSAND! Marco is working on an outdoor version from his Melting Pot practice. 

Torrice's project is more than a performance but an ecstatic experience where the artists involved throw a part of themselves into the MELTING POT and create new life together. 

MELTING POT forms the framework for the transcultural identity that the dance practice carries and promotes. Different dance styles such as hip-hop, freestyle, krump, vogueing, ... come together in an outdoor show that is located between performance, jam and party!

If it weren't for corona, the spectators would even be invited to the dance floor! MELTING POT opens up the dialogue to other art sectors and thus builds a bridge between the performing arts, music and fashion. Dancers from different cultural backgrounds take you along and tell a story through movement where they express, share and give a place to their deepest emotions.

Now you can experience it on the dansbar site of Dansand, while dancing in your bubble on the spot, and this under the guidance of a DJ and VJ!
