At the age of 14, Adams Mensah travels to Belgium to live with his father.  His mother stays behind in Ghana. Three years after his departure, his mother has a stroke. As a teenager, he is unable to help his sick mother. Over the next few years, he is weighed down by a growing sense of guilt.
Six years after the incident, Adams returns to Ghana to visit his ailing mother.
An emotional journey, more far-reaching than planned.
